Can my dog wear them indoors or for injuries?

Yes, our boots have a textured latex rubber coating all the way around which can help injured, disabled, or elderly dogs with grip and traction. Since the dog boots have soft soles and a knitted body, these boots can be comfortably worn indoors as well. We recommend removing the boots every few hours.

How do you put them on? How do they stay on?

These Ultrawoof boots have a flexible sole which helps dogs feel the ground beneath them, making it more natural to wear. They are also very lightweight which helps keep the dog comfortable. The velcro straps at the leg have stretch and can be tightened or loosened based on your dog's leg circumference. In addition, a dog's hind legs are different in proportion than the front. Ultrawoof's dog boots for the hind legs are designed to be longer for improved fit and added comfort.

To put on our dog boots, you can fold them in half to slip the boot on the dog's toes before flipping the boot up and pulling it into place. You can find a video walkthrough on how to put on our dog shoes here.

Is it OK for dogs to wear boots?

Yes! When necessary, putting dog boots on your dog will help keep their paws protected from hot pavement and burns in the summer, and frostbite and discomfort in the winter. Dog shoes can also be used for injured dogs or older dogs who may have weaker hind legs and mobility loss from osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia, or degenerative myelopathy.
